The detail

What's on your skin

A short, honest breakdown of every active — and what it's actually doing.

12% azelaic acid

A dicarboxylic acid that helps normalise keratinisation (the process behind clogged pores) and visibly fades post-acne pigmentation. One active, two of the most common concerns.

Niacinamide (vitamin B3)

Supports the skin barrier, helps regulate oil and calms the look of redness — which makes the azelaic acid easier to tolerate day after day.

Vitamin C

A stable derivative for antioxidant defence and a gradual, more even glow. It complements azelaic acid on tone without the sting of pure ascorbic acid.

Fragrance-free base

No added fragrance, no essential oils, no drying alcohol. A simple humectant-and-emollient base that layers cleanly under moisturiser and SPF.

What's inside

Three actives. One clean formula.

Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and built to layer under everything else.

12%

Azelaic acid

A naturally-derived dicarboxylic acid. It slows the clogging that starts a breakout, dials down visible redness, and gradually breaks up the brown and pink marks acne leaves behind — the two things most routines need a separate product for.

Cosmetic strength: 12% · prescription is 15–20%

5%

Niacinamide

Vitamin B3. Reinforces the skin barrier so the azelaic acid stays easy to tolerate night after night, helps regulate oil, and softens the look of pores and uneven texture over time.

One of the most studied barrier-support actives

Stable

Vitamin C

A stable derivative — no sting, no oxidising to orange. Adds antioxidant defence against daily light and pollution, and works alongside the azelaic acid on tone for a slow, even glow.

Pairs safely with acids, unlike pure ascorbic acid

I'd tried everything for the marks my breakouts left behind. Two months in and my skin genuinely looks more even — my daughter noticed before I did.

My skin has always been reactive so I was nervous about an acid. No stinging at all. It's the only active I've been able to stick with.

Hormonal breakouts around my jaw for years. They still come, but they're smaller and they don't leave a dark mark for weeks anymore.

One cream instead of the four things I used to layer. My routine finally makes sense and my skin is calmer for it.

Bought it for the old sun spots on my cheeks. They're visibly lighter and my skin feels smoother. Onto my second jar now.

The marks after breakouts were the thing I couldn't shift for years. About 10 weeks in and my cheeks look genuinely more even — I've stopped wearing concealer every day.

Very sensitive skin and I was nervous about an acid. Zero stinging, zero flaking. I use it every night and my moisturiser goes straight on top.

I had a five-step routine and half of it was doing nothing. This replaced my spot treatment and my 'brightening' serum. Simpler and my skin is calmer.

No fragrance, no sting, and it doesn't pill under sunscreen — which every other cream I've tried does. That alone sold me.

Hormonal breakouts along my jaw. It hasn't stopped them completely but they're smaller and they fade in days instead of weeks now.

Bought it for the post-acne pigmentation. Three months later the old marks are noticeably lighter. Slow but real.

Texture is light, absorbs fast, sits well under makeup. I keep forgetting I'm using an 'active' because there's no drama.

My teenager uses it and it's the first thing that hasn't irritated his skin. Dermatologist said azelaic acid was a sensible place to start.

Ordered Monday, arrived Friday. The 30-day guarantee is why I risked it — didn't need it, but nice to have.

I'd tried a cheaper 10% azelaic and it did nothing for the redness. This one actually calmed my cheeks down within a month.

Dark patches from sun damage a few years ago. Not a miracle but they're visibly lighter, and it's the only thing I've stayed consistent with.

Second jar. My skin looks 'quieter' overall — fewer new spots, and they don't leave a mark for weeks like before.

Absorbs in seconds, no white cast, doesn't interfere with my makeup. My partner started stealing it so we bought a second.

Was skeptical about buying skincare online. Took photos week 1 and week 10 — the difference in my chin area genuinely surprised me.

Cystic flare-ups around my period. Hasn't stopped them but recovery is faster and the scarring is much less than it used to be.

FAQ

Everything worth asking

Still unsure? Write to us — a real person answers, usually same day.

How long until I see a difference?
Azelaic acid is gradual. Most people notice calmer, less angry breakouts within 3–4 weeks, and changes in tone and post-acne marks over 8–12 weeks of daily use. Consistency matters far more than how much you apply — a pea-size amount is enough.
Is it OK for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?
Azelaic acid is one of the better-tolerated actives and is often recommended for redness-prone skin. This formula is fragrance-free with niacinamide to support the barrier. Still, patch-test on your inner forearm for two nights first. Mild tingling on the first few uses is normal; persistent burning, itching or peeling means stop and simplify your routine.
Morning or night?
Either works. Many people find evening easiest because it's one less thing to layer in the morning. If you use it in the AM, always follow with SPF 30+ — sun exposure undoes a lot of the work on tone.
Can I use it with retinol, other acids or vitamin C?
Introduce one new active at a time. If you already use retinol, start by alternating nights (retinol one night, this the next) for 2–3 weeks, then build up as your skin allows. You don't need a separate vitamin C or exfoliating acid while using this — that's rather the point.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Azelaic acid is generally considered one of the safer actives during pregnancy, but formulations and individual situations differ. Please check with your doctor or midwife before starting anything new.
Is this a medicine or a prescription?
No. It's a cosmetic product with 12% azelaic acid (prescription versions are typically 15–20%). It's not intended to diagnose, treat or cure a medical condition. For persistent, painful or scarring acne, see a dermatologist — this is a good maintenance step alongside proper treatment, not a replacement for it.
How big is it and how long does it last?
30 g (1 oz). Used once a day as directed, a jar lasts most people around 8–10 weeks.
Shipping and returns?
Orders are dispatched within 2 business days and arrive in roughly 5–8 days. Shipping is always free. If it's not working for you, contact us within 30 days of delivery for a full refund — you don't need to send the jar back.
